best dealership around LA

my service light just went on, and my car is still covered under maintenance.. just wondering what dealership to bring it to and who's had good/bad experiences for service with dealers around LA

santa monica and beverly hills bmw are closest to me, but after reading reviews about them, it's turning me away from going there. also pacific bmw and century west bmw got pretty bad reviews..seems like all bmw dealerships are getting pretty bad ratings

i saw a nick alexander imports ..is this a BMW dealer? from the looks of it, it's mainly a MINI dealer.

any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I only take mine to Century West in North Hollywood...tried Steve Thomas a few times out of convenience but not worth it...CW is worth the drive for us

decided to go to CENTER BMW in sherman oaks. currently sitting in the waiting room.

SA is Brian Douglas. So far, he's been pretty helpful, no complaints

I took my car there several times too. Brian is ok. Another nice guy there - Steve Taureadot (I think I spelled it right). The only minor inconvenience with Center was that I got my car from another dealership, so Center wouldn't give me a BMW loaner, just a cheap rental - but even that is nice of them...

They quoted me $359 the other day just for regular oil change service. I just laughed hysterically and hung up the phone.

just got back from the dealer. no problems. although they took a little longer than he said, they got the job done.

my shadowline door trim was loose, like coming off the car, on the rear right passenger side and they fixed that. also when i bought my CPO the rear passenger inside door handle looked like it had been chewed up. mckenna (where i got my car) said they couldn't do anything about it to fix it.. today, i brought that up w/ center bmw and they gladly ordered a new door handle piece for me and i just have to go in next week for a simple replacement

one thing that i thought was weird was that when i got my car back, there were bits and pieces of plastic (grey and black) on my seat.. looked like they had broken off from something, and i looked everywhere in the car but couldn't find where they came from

overall i'm happy with what they did, i'd definitely bring my car back there again for service

Ive had 2 great experiences with pacific. Marco is the man! Also, even tho I didn't buy my car from them, as long as I call ahead I can reserve a loaner. And they do a pretty sweet job of detailing your car after each visit. Last time I even got tire detailing!!

And whatever you do, don't go to Beverly hills!! They're just awful incompetent people. And I bought my car from them...ugh

From what I've read, dealers will only give you loaners if you buy your car there ...otherwise you may get a rental

Yeah I go to New Century also. Never an issue and always a BMW loaner. Had a 335i and 328i before as well as a couple 5s.
Only thing there is my SA was Sal and he isn't there anymore so I might just try Art. Thx for the tip.
