I have an 07 e92 with zsp, so would it just be direct swap of the wheel itself and I can just re-use the original cut outs/buttons/trim?

I think it's a straight swap but I am not 100% sure.

Marc I'm interested. Do you knowif my E90 paddleshifter will fit. Or do you even have DCT shifter slots?

This will not fit cars with paddle shifters because it doesn't have the paddle shifter cut-outs. Sorry
