Lease end buyout questions

Hi All,

I have a 335i coupe and my lease is up in a month.
I have already made my last payment.
The residual is $28000 and the dealer made me an offer $32000 CPO'ed.

Is this a reasonable offer?
This is the first time I am considering keeping a leased car so I don't know much

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by "the dealer made me an offer...?" Did they make you an offer to buy it from you or to sell it to you for $32k as a CPO'd vehicle?

You can buy out the car for $28k and shop around for a BMW warranty. You could probably land one for $2200.

You also can call BMW financial and see if they want to sell you the car for less. The Stealership is being just that. They are trying to sell you the car back with a $4k Warranty.

Thanks all for your responses.

Is getting CPO different from buying BMW warranty?
I thought CPO adds 2 years to my warranty.
Sorry about newbie questions

same thing, just another way for BMW to package it. And don't let anyone on here tell you different.

If you want to spend a little extra, I say keep your car and get a warranty and some maintenance plans. You know how you've driven the car from day 1. With CPO cars, you can hope the other owner was gentle with the car.

Example: my friend bought a bsm/black 335i in Houston a few months after I got mine here. His car has seen the mechanic more than it's seen the road.
