Free HDR tools?

Do you guys know of any free tools that can be used to create HDR images? Anything that you have used in the past and is free . Doesnt matter if it supports only mac or windows...Thanks.

Free as in permanent, or trial run offers?

Just about everyone has a 30 day or watermarked trial run.

Free forever,anything basic should also be fine...Wanna learn working on images before I buy a tool ...
