Boost leak help

So my car just threw 30FF code, which I understand means there's a leak somewhere around the intercooler. I know the typical easy answer is check the charge pipe or diverter valves but I don't really know how to start. The only mods I have are a tune and dci. Got an oil change last Tuesday but I don't know how that would have caused it?

How does one find a leak? Diverter valves you can see from under the hood right? Put some soapy water around the connections? What about other likely places, do I need to be able to get under the car? Or is this a job I need to take to a shop for?

Thanks

could be as well a wastegate stuck open. if you are stock thats more likely the cause. Normally that is fixed with a new turbo... Do a leak test (spray smoke to see where the leak is) if its tight than its one of your turbos.

funny thing - my wife told me her car was "down on power" and that it felt slow.

"i gotta push the gas real hard for the car to go" <--- which is surprising because i have the Cobb and the FMIC - thing will take off without even trying

anyways, i ran the car yesterday in the morning and noticed right away that the car was junk - car was NOT boosting

since i was on my way to my parents house i put it back in the garage and went out for the rest of the day.

last night i got home and drove the car again - same thing.

ran some codes via Cobb and threw this list:

P2FA3 - Cobb
P2AAF - freakin HPFP
P2D25 - ???
P29F3 - fuel pressure sensor
P30FF - boost pressure to leak from pressure line

looks like what i expected - leak somewhere. BUT, i don't necessarily believe it's located at the IC. it "could be", but it can be leaking anywhere, right !??

How does one build positive boost on a mt without actually driving? Is the only way to remove the intake and pressurize it from there with a compressor?

So you didn't have a boost leak anywhere? Just a faulty sensor?
