Finally got my 335xi Coupe
Hey, wanted to introduce myself. I just got an 08 335XI Sapphire Black with Coral Red and a Manual trans. I have been looking for a black with red 335 coupe in a manual with descent miles great condition and obviously a good price. I ended up finding one all the way in KC. I bought it sight unseen (except the pics of every sq inch obviously lol). It came in Friday night at Midnight. Wow I LOVE it. I'm looking to get some coil overs, probably KW V1's as I don't need or know how to set everything. I always thought Bilsteins were awesome. Any info would be much appreciated. Its my DD, I don't wanna spend a lot, I want a good ride, low with the adjustable feature. I also want to do an ecu flash or whatever it is called. I have done alot of searching on here and the JB4 looks good. What do you all think of that? Ill get into other mods after. Thanks in advance.

Thanks to all. Pics will be up soon. I gotta get a camera and figure out how to get them onto the computer. I just got 20 Beyern Rapps yesterday with 285/25 and 255/30 I think. they had the same rolling diameter as the stock staggered setup. I just ordered KW V1's,the Cobb flash and AFE Intake. I also got M3 side skirts and an AERO Lip. I got my wheels and tires at Townfair Tire. I was told they should fit and I have done alot of research. It looks like they should but if anyone has any concrete info please let me know. I will be doing before and after pics. I think the 20's will look awesome so I really want them to work.

GO WITH THE COBB! I've had it on my car for around a month and the thing is a beast! I have a 4 door XI and im clocking 0-60 times in the mid 4's. Also, install and uninstall is super easy for when you need to take her to the dealer. I highly recomend it.
BTW, welcome |

I just got the AFE intake and the Aero Lip and M3 sideskirts. I was going to have them painted this week but the guy said he cant install for a few weeks. I should be able to do it myself pretty easy right? How are the side skirts held in, I havent even looked at them yet? My wheels should be in Friday and they are telling me it should fit no problem. I know it will be close but I guess we will see. Anyone have experience with the sizes (285/25/20 offset-35 and fronts are 245/30/20 offset-30)?? I know people get pissy about asking about tunes but I just want to know specifically why I shouldnt go with a active autowerks ap2. Is there something better or less expensive and Turner will install it for $250, is there anyone else that will do different tunes and for possibly less. Im thinking about getting an exhaust while its in. What do you guys like. If you could do it over again what would you go with for the best price. I dont want annoying loud. I just want it to sound good but dont wanna get pulled over in NH ( cops are crazy around here) I am going to post before and after pics soon. Thanks for all the help guys

I love my KW V1s...the look and feel is what it should have been from factory.
