It's not good to ever rev your engine without load because you can spin a bearing. But that isn't going to happen from one time, that's for people who sit in their driveway and constantly rev to 5k rpms over and over.

You're fine. Now just dont rev it and go from neutral to drive.

Why would the bearing, and which bearings in such case, become loose at about 5k rpm ? This is 2k below redline end apart from being truly silly to rev the engine in neutral there should be no problems to rev it to 5 or 6k rpm. In case the engine is over-reved, nasty things may happen such as e.g. valves meeting piston tops when the valve springs does not close the valves quick enough.

You could spin a main bearing by over revving... but yea the rpm's are way too low for that to happen. Most likely a misshift would cause a spun main bearing.
