Only DCT or MT.
DCT will break on those cars, with the same type of power increase you guys are doing with the 6AT. Just look at the GTR, and how bad those DCT trannies are with upgraded power. Manuals may fare better, but will need an upgraded aftermarket clutch. Gears will grind later on though. The 6hp19 is probably fine to handle a little power increase, similar to dinan stage 1 or bmw factory performance kit, but nothing more. Oh, and brake torquing is known for killing trannies. Launching, and drag racing in general kills auto trannies. I lost one doing this, so trust me, I know.

For what it's worth, I believe Level 10 Transmissions upgrades the 6HP19 at reasonable prices.

The 6HP19 transmission is not listed on their website but I've contacted them in the past and I believe they said they can build it for 700HP/TQ.

The pricing on that site is realy reasonable... unfortunaly it's in the us... makes it to expensive for european...

But good deal for US AT owner with a blown tranny...

Nice find, thanks! OP, so it would be cheaper and waaaay better to have Level 10 rebuild your current tranny rather than ordering a new one or trying to find a good used one. Hope all works out.
