Nitrous intercooler sprayer & Meth Q

I have a buddy selling an intercooler sprayer kit for dirt cheap..
Don't remember ever seeing or hearing about this being done on a 335..

Also. Granted I went through with this... Would there be a problem with doing the sprayer kit & Methanol? They both serve the same purpose pretty much, but one sprays into the IC piping, the other on top of the IC...

Feedback?

Intercooler spray works effectively as for cooling but would cost alot more money than meth...Methanol is relatively cheap as compared to nitrous...Nitrous spray bar will effectively cool the fmic but will not give the octane benefits that meth injection does..If your going for power adder get the meth...I would rather spray a SMALL shot of nitrous into the charge pipe then use it to cool the FMIC

You don't fill the tank up with nitrous when you spray the intercooler, you fill the bottle up with C02, and spray liquid C02 onto the intercooler. Same effect as spraying nitrous on it, but for 1/10 the cost, and even cheaper than meth. It's not a bad deal.

Yeah I heard of CO2 being used also...

Thought about this the other day. Would be good for a track run. Not really practical for street use though.

Any gas supply will have C02 for cheap. I dont know what you guys use down there, but PraxxAir is my supply for Oxy-Acet.

from what i hear spraying the intercooler is a waist of nitrous and does really do anything. also methanol is alcohol buddy which gives you a bigger boom in the chamber. if you want a similar effect then spray the nitrous before the intercooler(inside) or in the charge pipe

lol.... CN you are out of control... are you on the bottle yet? Did you figure out the wiring?

Wired and ready. Still waiting on Shiv! As of now still have a 1000 purge kit. All show and NO go!

Lol!! I have CAI and unfortunately I have a good purge outlet to freeze my windshield to kill the bugs!

ummm...no...that is a bad idea. Most of the ofter decent gains from spraying nitrous on the intercooler are from nitrous getting into the intake tract. On the other hand if you spray C02...you can see power loss if you run an intake like we all do where the C02 can get pulled in. I you were running a true CAI with the filter in the drivers wheel well you could see a decent gain from chilling the inter cooler though.

Old Booster (record holder) started off spraying the intercooler with nitrous and found after some testing he was getting the gains from nitrous getting pulled in. So he started spraying a dry shot ...and that is N54s started running nitrous
