have to bring my car to a friend at bmw for some programming, and dont want the jb3 stage 1 to mess things up? anyone in the are that can meet sometime today or tomorrow to remove this from my car...its a 2011 535....thanks

Will your friend at BMW say anything if it's left in? I'm not advocating leaving it in, but if you set it to MAP 0, it won't change anything, it won't even affect programming, because the JB3 Stg 1 isn't interfacing with your CAN, like a JB4 or Procede would normally.

I could help, but I'm in the Bronx... I have to go to my school at 4, and would be able to help remove afterwards, probably around 415/430 but the car has to be cool... not burning myself trying to get the connectors removed... Specially the one underneath the air box... Tomorrow is no go for me as I am in class after work from 6-9... Not sure if any other members are available to help on short notice...

idk he says that it might interfere with the update, and that when he does the update it stores to BMW NA, where if anything goes wrong they can later access it and see that a tune was present?
