Proceed V5
I used this unit for 2 months only and it made the car so much better to drive and I would recommend this unit to any 335 owner. I have read that you may need to unlock the V5 but I never registered anywhere so not sure how that works. I am looking for a quick sale $700ono

...yes
$150 to unlock You may theoretically be able to downgrade the v5 to a v4, (which had no VIN lock), install in a new car, then re-upgrade back to v5... but I assume vishnu would be smarter than that |

I thought Shiv said all the old procedes aren't affected by this to protect current customers and it was only the newer factory rigged v5's shipping with the lock at a reduced price?

That's still a bloody sweet deal, I'd advise anyone looking for one to jump on this. There's no detriment in using a 2nd hand PROcede.
