Proceed install questions... part deux
Hey guys.. For those with Proceed, I have some final questions for you.
take a look at this pic. It's the DCE box on the passenger side with my proceed v5 in it. First off, on the top, is this how you guys are routing your cables? Just over the grommets and place the cover on? It seems sloppy to me, but I don't want to cut the rubber for the existing cables. So I guess this is how to do it. Any advice on better ways? I know it breaks the seal on the box having cables over the top of the existing conduits like this, but I can't see a better way of getting in/out of the box. Second, and more importantly, can anyone tell me which side the BATT side of the fuses in the box is? Is it the Front or Rear slot of the fuse banks? It makes a difference. I have the "add a circuit" hardware installed as if the rear-facing socket is BATT. Can anyone confirm if this is the BATT socket? If the front-facing socket is BATT, I need to turn my add-a-circuit hardware around so the Proceed is fused and not hardwired right into the BATT supply side of the circuit. I tried to determine this on my own, but the wires are just too looped down there to tell. BTW, the front of the car is to the right of the pic.. Thanks dudes.. |
