I've just paid for 6 months so it equates to £488 annually!! I initially got 6 months as I thought I may get shot of it but never did. Now got another 6 month so, if I still have it at Christmas time I'll get 12 months to beat the next increase!!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not moaning (well maybe a little ), I bought the X3 with my eyes open (and the 370 for that matter), so knew what was coming. Still a little frustrating a 3.0 diesel gets caught in the same tax bracket as a Lamborghini!!

Roger is helping to reduce the tax others pay, through his VED and his MPG. As am I. If the Government got less from motorists, they'd have to put income tax up.
