Fog Light Option
I used to have HID fog on my 04 Audi Cabriolet and it looks stunning. Been researching HID for my E92's. Seem like lots of members are having issue with error codes.
There is a locally detailed shop here in Seattle that can wrap my fog light housing in yellow film. gived off yellowish colors. Do you think this would be a good alternative or too ricey? Thx.

i myself try to stay away from films(especially if you have HIDS becuse the film colour will absorb some of the light and heat. really bad for long term use). i just have bright yellow bulbs(2500K) for my fog lights, but then again mine's halogens

I too were thinking about the yellow film. You can buy the film from **********s. They sell for like $50 or something... expensive for what they are IMO and probably not any cheaper if you have it done at the shop?
But I don't think it looks bad if you put a film over the fog lights if its just for cosmetic purpose. But does it make it more yellow when the lights are on? That is your goal right?

If it's for cosmetics I think the film will be alright if it's good quality.
********** Film (Comes with headlight film as well, just don't use it). Your local shop can probably wrap it for much less than $50. http://www.**********s.com/LaminX_B0...t_Film_E92.htm GP Thunder 3500K Fog Light Bulbs. http://************.com/subcat.asp?c=GP%20Thunder.3500k |

I'd say go with a yellow HID fog kit if that's what you're looking for. Check out HighPerformanceBulbs.com http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/hipexeh8plan1.html

hid on foggies
Hi,
I've convert my fog lamp to xenon on an e92, they uses pretty much the same ballasts and bulbs set in the market but just need the correct decoder to hook them up and have no bulb check issue. |

No problems with errors if you also buy the HID Inline Error Canceller Harnesses...
