Yes; turns out there exist 2 parts, with identical part nos. stamped on the back, yet different brushed aluminum patterns. This anomaly has resulted in the mismatch you see here. The switch happened a long time ago and didn't affect US-made E9X. Only M3s.

Driver's side door is I believe the top of the 2 longer door pieces of the photos. I wouldn't call it decent, has many small marks (see last photo). You can always order a new one from tischer @ ~$70.

If I don't sell this within a week or two, I'll just even out the imperfections and wrap in dinoc, then sell wrapped.

Just another thought - these would be good for anyone who wanted to do a painted trim (color match, accent color, gloss black, etc.)

definitely good for painting.

If anyone would like to have it wrapped in something other than the standard black CF dinoc, you're welcome to ship me the material as sort of deposit; I'd be happy to wrap it at request. PM me if you're looking for something specific to work out the details

I'd be willing to paint it as well but afraid it may come out less than perfect. Your call, really. You can have it painted professionally at a shop for $200-300, or I can do it for less. I'd order any paint color (incl. perfect exterior match) from automotive touchup.

You don't happen to do REAL carbon fiber overlays too do you? I have plenty of actual carbon fiber fabric, just not the skill to wrap things. Hands aren't steady at all.

I'll try my hand at fabric. My only concern is it'll be misaligned (wavy) once I stretch it tight over the pieces. Will it work without clearcoat? Clearing from a can will leave a bad peel effect. I'll pm you when I'm back home next week to sort out details.

Confident in my vinyl/paint ability, no experience with fabric though.

How much for that trim wrapped in the black dinoc if you were to do it? I am willing to buy and wrap myself or maybe provide you with the materials to do it and then ship it to me
