E92 Hood Compatibility?
I apologize if this has already been addressed but I think I searched extensively enough to warrant a post.
I have a 2011 E92 335is and am trying to get an aftermarket hood. Mine was keyed and I figure since I was already planning on replacing it this would be as good a time as any. Anyway, I am trying to figure out if a hood designed for an earlier model will fit my car. I looked on RealOEM.com and found the P/N for my hood is 41007263070, and the P/N for a 2008 E92 hood is 41617168514. These are obviously different numbers but I compared my hood with a friends older e92 and they look very similar. Does anyone know if they are compatible? If not does anyone even sell hoods for the newer E92s? Everything I've found says it was made for the 2007 cars. Thanks! |
