Recharging BMS DCI

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone ever used a K&N recharge kit on the BMS DCI? I used the cleaner on it - worked well. My filters are more of a grey/red color (they were prior to cleaning, just starting to look old - not a cause of the cleaner) instead of the fresh red anymore but they seem structurally sound.

I was wondering if you guys applied the oil to the filters or just the cleaner? Let me know.

Yes, you need to reapply the oil after cleaning them.

You can use the K&N cleaner and I think thats what most do. You need to do both steps, clean and then re-oil.

If you clean the filter without re-oiling you are doing a big mistake because the filter does not have filtering capability if it's not oiled.
