New to the e90 family

Hello,
I'm obviously one of the new guys located in north jersey bordering pa. I need a suggestion, I have cut off my secondary cats and resonator with the stock muffler with the hands of the mechanics or north jersey motorsports awesome guys would recommend them to anyone. To me the car sounds kind of high pitched like a honda would a muffler help me tone the car down? Thanks
