Style 189's + 15 mm spacers on lowered car = RUB
I remember somebody at the last meet was talking to me about spacers (sorry I forgot your name) and I recommended 10mm up front and 15mm in the back for your 189's on the stock ZSP suspension.
Well, let me inform you that if you plan to lower the car, the 15mm will cause slight rubbing on dips at highway speeds. My car is lowered to what would be considering 0 finger gap, but not tucking the tire, or tucking like 0.5cm max. I got a set of 12mm and 10mm laying around as well, I will test those out and see if I still rub and see how conservative I need to get with the setup. It's weird because a 9.5" with 33 offset (the norm with most wheels) is 2mm MORE aggressive than my current setup and I know people running them without rubbing issues on cars with similar height and no excessive negative camber.

Tires also influence things as some are more square then others around the outside and rub more then a more rounded tire..
With spacers/suspension/tires/rims there is no one answer Just role the fender slightly and you should be good. I personally love an aggressive look (the one you get only if you are on the edge of rubbing) Mike |

Yeah my tires aren't supposed to have a square sidewall, but I guess they do haha. I will try something with a rounder sidewall like the falkens maybe. If I can get a 10" rear on my next setup a 265 tire will offer a bit more stretch and probably won't rub. I will contact bimmersport for the roll, t hanks for your help!
