Question regarding rear fogs LCI

Hey guys im looking at getting the Euro switch for my 09 3series, however all the pics i see of the guys using the rear fogs are the Pre-LCI guys. Does anyone have any pics or info regarding using this switch with the LCI taillights?

All of our cars have it. You have to take apart the trim around the driver side vent (to the left of the steering wheel) then take out the vent. After that you can slide up and off the lamp setting console. Once you take apart the lamp console you can shave off some plastic behind the rear fog switch, put everything back together and you can have rear fogs when full headlights are on.

I did this in about 15 minutes the 2nd day I had my car. There should be a DIY somewhere on this forum as well.

I have a LCI and bought a euroswitch. Rear fogs activate now and lights up on the dash too.

I tested a xenon/front fog euro switch on my halogen/non-fog equipped vehicle and it works perfectly.

Thanks for the answers guys, to the guy telling me how to take the switch out... Thanks I know how to do that I'm just asking if any LCI guys have done this yet as every time I see one for sale or pics of a car with it is the pre-LCI Guys. Now for the guys that have it, could you post a pic of your car with it on please ?

I didn't buy the switch, but used the DIY on here to make the missing piece and enable the rear fogs.
