New tires after 12k miles?

I bought my CPO 2007 e92 335i about 12k miles ago. When I first bought it, they had to replace the turbos within a few days (they missed that part of the inspection I guess). I think this replacement caused them to mess with my suspension....Not sure, there are a few pics of the car in pieces, in the link below..

Fast forward to this month, and I see some horrible uneven tire wear. Heavy wear (down to threads) on the outside of the contact patch on the front tires only. The rest of the tread seems fine., and the rears look OK too.

I only have 12k miles on these Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's!!!

Do you think I had a bad alignment when I bought the car? If so, do you think I can get the dealer to get me new tires?

Anyone go through something similar?

Yep I sure did. Purchased a second hand E90. Chewed through the continentals and then a pair of replacements for the rear in lightning speed before realizing that the alignment was horribly off. Simple fix. Now it's all good.
