How many aluminium bolts need to be replaced when replacing the clutch ?

Hi,

I will replace my clutch tomorrow with the help of some buddies and I got some aluminium bolts from the dealer, 6 for the transmission case and 6 for the clutch to flywheel. Are these the only ones needing replacement or are there any more aluminium bolts ? Are there any other bolts requiring replacement ?

Thanks !

You'll do fine with these bolts and in fact it is overkill to replace that many since gearbox is mainly held by steel bolts. These steel bolts can of course be reused since they are screwed into the engine block aluminum threads and no near stressed to the limit of the bolt itself.
