Just got my Accessport installed and love the v201 on 91. However, does everyone running the 93 map actually run that gas or can I safely use it with 91 gas?

Any ETA on when v203 will be made public?

Are you saying you think the Cobb stage 1 alone, with no other go fast mods, gives 100+ WHP gain?

it hits like 17 psi around 4000 rpm's, and tapers down to like 13.5 or something to that effect by redline. I bet it adds 100 WTQ and almost as much WHP but I don't know the specifics... I do know I wouldn't run 93 octane map without an FMIC, but that is just me. I would run 1 map back (like 91 if using 93 octane, acn 91 if using "good" 91 octane, etc). As much as I love the tune, I feel like it is too much for a totally stock car. I have fmic and dp's though...

Feel? Cobb kinda-sorta has this whole stage 1 thing figured out. Look to the subaru, evo, gt-r communities running AP software. Could you point me to a collection of failure data for stock vehicles and stage 1 cobb tunes (or just a single failure)? I'm honestly curious.

A brief OT here: Vasillalov and Dzenno mentioned a splitter device for using the P3 vent gauge and the Cobb AP at the same time. Can either one of you or anyone else point me in the right direction for such a splitter? Thanks!

Just google "OBD splitter" - you'll find what you're looking for.

I did, and I'd like to apologize for not being clearer on the specs. There are tons of OBD2 splitters, but I couldn't find one (or an extension cable to fit one) that is low profile enough to put the OBD2 port cover back on for the stealth look.

The OBD2 cable that came with the P3 vent gauge is extremely low profile and fits perfect, but it has a DB9 connector end. Therefore, I cannot attach an OBD2 splitter to it.

Is P3Cars/RIXSTR even doing BMW business at present? I've emailed twice to try to obtain a new P2 or P3 vent gauge and no response. Vendor still around? Odd....a year ago, he was selling these like hotcakes.

No data, just personal preference. 17.3 psi is quite a task for a totally stock car. I personally "feel" like you should at least upgrade the FMIC but to each his/her own... the stock FMIC is pretty much garbage and you will see 160 degrees F IAT's before you finish 1 lap at a track. If you just DD the car and only WOT occasionally, I guess it really won't matter.

This is what you are looking for http://www.obd2cables.com/products/o...y-to-db9f.html. I run this cable with the v2 gauge.

He should be, I see his last activity as yesterday. The odd thing is that the e90 group buy thread for the e90 v2 Vent Gauge is locked. I have had luck in the past with with contact@p3cars.com. Definitely worth a shot as the latest gauge is solid.
