bmw PE exhaust and secondary cat delete?

I need some feedback to my help my decision on what route to go with this exhaust setup. I'm getting the bmw performance exhaust installed monday.. my friend has the same setup with the 2ndary cat delete and it sounds great. Are their any pros or cons to removing the 2ndary cat? My friend swears theirs gains, I'm just worried about if the car is going to have any drone.
