I will look up some links when I get hm from work!! On top of my head, things like Dvs r just as good holding boost as BOV, or people that upgrade their DVs do it just to get that woooosh sound. But never have I read that BOV r a must, or better than DVs. I might be wrong very new to BMW still.

Synapse has a nice tone to it, and its defiantly not annoying. |

I've heard that synapse BOV suck & blow out air. Is this true? Also heard that they may trigger error codes. Any answers on this?

how hard was it to put the CP into the throttle body? I was able to put the pipe on and the clip but I believe i'm still having boost leaks at the throttle body area. Is the pipe allowed to "wiggle" a little bit when installed?

It took a little force. It will not wiggle when installed correctly.

While this is alive, do you get oil sitting right at the BOV opening? I do but not surprised since it's well known that we have oil caked in our whole intake lines. Just wanted to double check.

I get a little at the BOV opening, and I have an OCC so I imagine it could be worse. I found very little oil (slight film, not bad for 30k miles on the car) when removing the stock charge pipe and DV's. I think the OCC helps alot, even though it might leak a bit... to me an occasional drop of oil can be wiped up and doesn't bother me as much as having it inside my intake tract.

Looks great! I went with their TiAL just because it's what they use on their time attack car. I hear great things about the Synapse.
I didn't get a free T-Shirt and I own all their products~! Fred...I wan't my free T

The RR one, got it back in summer 2008 when my car was almost here (special order delivery). I took off that side hose and applied some high temp silicon tape to those 2 connectors, made sure everything was nice and tight. I still see a very small amount of oil on that reflective metal below it (heat shield type stuff) but it can be wiped off... like I said better there than pooled up in my FMIC and intake tract!

I was going to get TiAL, legendary BOV for sure. I tried the Synapse because I figured if it won a SEMA award and HPF was using it... I guess it should be good

Just got my ER chargepipe with Synapse BOV and meth bung located down by the elbow. Went this route largely due to ForceFed's positive review. I'm planning to install soon and will let you all know what I think. Stay tuned...
