Estimate WHP?

Have catless dp, bmw cai, full exhaust, jb3 (2.0) map 3, 93oct. I was wondering what kind of whp I'm roughly getting? I havent had any CEL light or limp modes in map 3 for 1500 miles so debating if this setting is safer to run as I used to get more limp modes under Map 5..... Any thoughts or experiences with your car? Thx

rough estimate would be anywhere between 260whp to 550whp depending on your dyno...

i think those numbers are very generous considering no intercooler and no downpipes even with downpipes and an intercooler 380 whp on map 5 is not likely

ya i guess under perfect conditions these numbers seem to be right but thats why i give some leeway so anywhere from 360-380 seems about right.

If it helps any. Drivetrain loss on our RWD cars is around 15-17 percent. The AWD version might be upwards of 20-22 percent

380whp = 444fwhp
390whp = 456fwhp
440whp = 514fwhp

.....seems a bit exaggerated to me

oops my bad...i meant to say BMW Intake and also I have AMS Intercooler as well. I am figuring somewhere in the neighborhood of 340-350whp. I will try to get it dyno the difference between map 3 and 5 as the car seems to be running limp modeless in map 3 for now... hahahah

Not really look at shiv's and terry's bone stock 3's and 1's dyno's. Their putting about 350-360 whp just with a tune and an intake and from my personal experience i put down 367 on map 7 intake and a muffler delete in 98 degree florida heat.however after 3 pulls it went down to 355 due to no FMIC i would guess.

Agreed. Chassis dynos are just tools to measure % increase/gains. Without a baseline, chassis dynos are useless. I am sure you can find a DynoJet (or tweak one) that will read out 350whp on a stock 335i......
