FYI I looked up the Carfax on this one a couple days ago; its had 2 accidents by 2 owners. One rear-ender and one side swipe. In both cases, airbags did not deploy.

Salvage title car that sold for $5800 last year when partially repaired from wreck with following notes: "It was bought in California from and insurance auction years ago, garage keep, ran once a month, Some dash lights on, needs drivers fender, Pass side headliner airbag, drivers rocker and maybe more?" Apparently current owner repaired it further.

So it apparently has been in a wreck with deployed airbag(s) resulting in the salvage title. Buyer beware.

I will certainly post some, as soon as I get home from the Middle East. This was a bit of an unusual transaction.

I emailed the guy right away and was first in line to "see it." Problem is I'm currently on my annual overseas detachment with the Navy reserves. So, after getting some basic reassurance info from the seller, I asked my wife to drive out and see/drive the car, which she did while I was on Facetime talking to him and "seeing" the car. Everything looked good and Carfax checked out, so my wife gave him a deposit, got a signed purchase agreement, and the car's awaiting my pickup on/around the 15th.

Very excited to join the wagon crowd! Pics to follow.

Has xenons and HK sound. Don't think that it has bluetooth, if I am reading the VIN decoder properly. Carfax reports 2 'minor' accidents. Great car less the accident history. Price seems reasonable, though.
