oh yeah defo will be suited to the lenders, I am sure they won't be out of pocket.
I don't think this consumer law applies to lease though, only HP.

It's called voluntary termination and as long as 50% is paid and the car is returned in reasonable condition you are within your rights to return the car with no black marks against your name. I vt'd a mini last April, no problems and then bought another one on a mini finance pcp in September again with mini finance with no issues.

If anyone's looking for a cheap, 18 month run around - Got a cracking deal on the 208 GTi Prestige. Great spec - comes with Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Pan Glass roof, Parking sensors, USB, Half Leather sports seats.

£129 a month for 5k miles a year and £156 for 10k a year.

Just to add, these prices INCLUDE Vat. I can also do 1,3 & 9 month deposit deals on these

I'm looking for a good lease deal and since i'm a business owner, i can take advantage of a business lease.

This 430D lease looks good. You know of any other decent business lease offers?

Although monthly figures on the Business deals are quite some way from Personal prices - allot of these deals are a little sugar coated. Generally, they're figures based on standard cars with no options, 9 payments down and only 8,000 miles a year.

I've just received a pretty good Personal price on the 335d x-Drive M sport on a 6+23 profile and 10,000 a year. £290+VAT.

I'm a business owner too, You can just set up a lease in the business name, but make the payments from your personal account, that way it is not a company car as far as the HMRC are concerned, so no BIK which is a kiler on a decent motor, and you get the deals on offer to business clients.

If they insist on a business bank account, set it up with that but then change the account number to your own jut before the first payment.

No rules broken, everyone's a winner!

True - but Mercedes, BMW and Audi can, generally, do business prices at around £100-150 a month cheaper. Seriously, I know that sounds f***** up - but I never knew this until I started doing this.

I priced a Lexus up for a client on both business and personal - There was a £200 a month difference !!!!!

Interesting. When yiou say "can do" what does that mean?

If they are advertised the same price, then what? Do you mean they have more more for manouvre on a business deal?

When I've asked about which way is cheaper (as I can do both) I was always told it makes no difference, but maybe that's them blagging me.

Some deals are only available on business I agree, but when available business and personal they seem the same but quoted with / without VAT.

Tell me more.....

So that's a 25+18 deal!!

Unusual terms, Works out at £177 / month inc vat. Gives a good headline figure though.

The same ratio would make an M5 less than £300 / month on a 33+24 deal. 10grand deposit though......

Yes, central tend to do this with deals to give the big giveaway style monthly price. They were the ones that had the VW Up for £1pm at the end of last year. The deposit was £1k so it actually worked out at £100pm over the term.

It's a bit of a cheap trick but the 208 deal still works out cheaper than most. They were roughly £1400 + 23 x £170 previously.

As many golf R leasers are discovering, the only real issue with doing a falsely inflated initial payment is that if the car gets nicked (a hell of a lot of Rs are getting nicked) you don't see any of that money returned even with GAP.

Don't nearly all insurance companies replace a nearly new car with a brand new car?? So shouldn't you just get another Golf R? Or does it work differently with lease car ??

It does work differently as you can't just get another used car.... cos the. It's gone from a 1 owner car to a 2 previous owners when you hand the car back.

So what I believe happens is that you pay off the leasing comany & you are left with no car..... hence why you need gap insurance case there is a shortfall!

I took out 15k gap, so whatever happens I'll be covered!

I'm not sure who told you that, but it's absolute rubbish. Mercedes and BMW will do stonking monthly discounts on business cars, if they're running short on hitting targets.

Example, end of last month - We had the CLS250 AMG for £299+vat for business customers on a 6+23 and 8k pa. The same car was being offered at £399+vat for personal contracts.

BMW 320d x-Drive M Sport - £209 on a 9+23 10k pa - business. You'll be lucky to find the same model for less than £350 on personal terms.

I've just received some business prices for the 2015 A4 Black edition Quattro S-Tronic. £275+vat - 6+23 and 8k pa. On a personal quote, same terms, I had a figure of £399+vat sent to me.
