Not worried if it's a pain or not. I'm not installing it. I'm having it done when my turbos are done.

Didn't u at one time have TFT, but ran into fit issues?

I have never seen one dyno to confirm this. The pipes are only just marginally shorter anyways.

+1. People put too much emphasis on the length without any supporting data. All inlets should net you similar numbers if anything.

I think it's because they do in fact see performance gains from this, vs retaining the stock location with bigger inlets...probobly not the route I will go, as I would like to keep things as close to stock as possible, but I see why people do it.

Also, it probobly sounds way better!!!

Just drove car.. As for updates the car sounds the exact same lol... Only a slight turbo sound before blow off valve sneezes... Honestly i cant tell the power increase but im the worse butt dyno person so idk.. I will say i was 50/50 e85 mix when i took it to shop... Now about 15% e85 lol had to go get gas (93).. Car still looks stock. Have no impressions as yet

Edit: i did still see 19psi from mostly 93 octane on map5 which was a pleasing sight

No increase in intake sucking noise?
Which inlets did you buy?

I'm buying in 2 weeks. Only difference I see between vrsf, mmp, and PR is cost and looks. I don't really see much benefit of bigger pipe to smaller opening on turbo inlet or taper tube vs big the whole way. It's diminimus. So I'm going for cheapest to my door in stock. Atm, that means vrsf wins. Lower shipping cost than mmp and in stock. I'll take a harder look at mmp if it's in stock when I buy. The rest are over priced. My engine bay is a mess at 225,000 miles and a leaky oil filter gasket so I really could care less about looks.

I thought VRSF is the only one that makes you splice wires. Is this false? Does MMP and precision raceworks also require the splice of wire?

Mmp requires spliced wires as well. It literally takes 2-3 minutes.

Use crimps or solder and shrink wrap. Easiest part of the install probably.
