Today I tried the self-parking feature for the first time. It works well! This is the job it did.

How did it attach to the leather shifter boot?

Oh H&R has a set specifically for the G87 already? Someone bite the bullet!
Edit - the car doesn’t populate from their drop box |

Correct, not on their site yet (my friend knows them personally and spoke with them tiday). Yes, they have specific for G87....just confirmed about an hour ago. Definitely Sport and Super Sport, not sure if the adjustables are available yet (I have the adjustables in my S5, had no choise at the time, and wouldn't get them again). The Sport are currently out of stock (not positive on the Super Sport) but should be back in stock hopefully next week. The fronts are the same as G80/82 but the rears are different. |

On the long ride home, took it to see the Very Large Array (VLA) and visiting Pie Town enroute. Great open road ride to get familiar.
If you’re wondering about comfort, my trip yesterday was 17 hours with two road closures forcing long detours. (I40 New Mexico Construction Zone accident and Arizona Beeline Highway closure due to brush fire). The M2 performed beautifully and the brakes were great when the Semi in front of me smoked the trailer tires yo avoid the interstate accident. Looking forward to learning more as I get to know it better. |

Yesterday I used the windshield wipers for the first time. Does that count as something I did?

Dropped it off for the Break-In service.
Time to put the hammer down! I'll write impressions when I'm done.

Negative, got it installed locally. Nice to have the factory parts in case I want to sell it.
