probably worth swapping a few mobile numbers + regs too as well as the sat nav stops - just in case there are other E90 nutters up there in the dales on the same day

DETAILS

OK, details as requested you impatient buggers

Link to route

Meet at Cedar Court Hotel Lounge Bar 10.30-11am

http://www.cedarcourthotels.co.uk/page.asp?pageID=56

http://www.cedarcourthotels.co.uk/uploads/LOUNGE(3).pdf

Top of the M606 as you arrive in Bradford.

Loads of roadworks there at the moment as there is a major development of the access onto and of the motorway...so don't put trust totally on your satnavs. However, it's still easy to find and allows the opportunity to relax for those travelling from Scotland etc.

Suggested meet itinerary:

Meet at Cedar Court Hotel between 10.30 -11am

Drive into the Dales

1. Photo stops at the Cow and Calf rocks on Ilkley Moor (If there is enough parking and it's dry).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilkley_Moor
http://www.geocities.com/venturesongs/ilkley.html

2. Lunch at Grassington
Park in Grassington Car Park and National Park Information Centre, Hebden Road
http://www.grassington.uk.com/
Foresters Arms in Grassington at 1.30pm .
http://www.forestersarmsgrassington....lunch_menu.php

3. Drive on via Malham Tarn and Malham Cove (largely single track roads with passing places)

http://www.malhamdale.org.uk/malham_cove.htm

Stop for chat and photos in Malham. Those that want to bother can have a look at the famous cove and take photos etc.

4. Back to Bradford via Haworth. Worth a stop and look around if it's not too busy. http://www.haworth-village.org.uk/
http://www.haworth-village.org.uk/visitors/visitors.asp

5. Hotel - book in for those staying

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/...uestid=4137369

6. Curry evening and drinks at Omar Khan's. Restaurant booked for 8pm

http://www.omarkhans.co.uk/

I will PM my phone number on request.

Hope this answers most questions. Feel free to ask anything else, but be aware that I can't reply during the working day, due to firewall restrictions.

Looking forward to it!

Gav

Nicola it doesn't bother me what car you're in as long as the bugger doesn't break down lol.........mind you t'other half would probably be able to get it going again if it's an older car.

As long as I'm fed, watered and can drive my car, I'm happy.

LOL

Older stuff I normally know their little characters, can usually entice them into going, no more reason something older should break down though really so long as it's happy!

Still not found anything though Currently thinking 4x4 plus a Robin Hoon 7TC at the moment though

I've looked on the Beeb site for all the area we're covering and if you move the little arrow along so the picture changes, it only shows 'our area' as cloudy. The blue representing the rain doesn't appear until Sunday. So who knows eh - n'owt we can do about it so we have to get on with it.
