i honestly dont feel im beating him up at all, from the first page on this thread i only offered my opinion, he came in and personally bashed me over my opinion, i dont feel i'm the bad guy, sure i tried to discredit him for that but i mean we all have to let out some anger sometimes.

trust me kevins character need not come into question, misunderstandings happen in here on a daily basis. People have opinions and are passionate about how/what they feel nothing more!

i have only had to defend myself in one thread other then this so think what you want. you started this b.s. because you didnt like my opinion or comments in this thread and had no USEFUL info to provide. no i do not wish to pm you at all, i got nothing to hide, let everyone see how unexperienced and childish you are. maybe i should start bashing people PERSONALLY for having an mtech bumper cuz i like the aero lip better. then i would understand where you are coming from |

I dunno i would have to question it. I have custom made dp that where made for my Porsche and they were 300 and that was spent mainly for materials (ss can be very expensive) and the v-bands. I didn't have to pay for welding rods, labor, custom fab work etc...... I have already cracked a 2 dp one failed at the weld and the other got warp cus of the heat. I can take pics and post if u guys want

A lot of you guys misunderstood what I meant when I said "a pipe is a pipe."
My emphasis was on craftsmanship (meaning quality welds and quality cuts) and design (proper measurements and section placement before welds are made). My "a pipe is a pipe" statement is simply just that... a pipe (pipe stock) of stainless steel of similar grade to another pipe (again.. pipe stock) of similar grade is the same... for the purposes of downpipe anyway. I fully believe in the saying, "measure twice, cut once." It makes a huge difference. Especially in ease of installation if proper measurements and section cuts were made and degree'd to each section before a weld is made. Smooth pipes do account for a few extra ponies as well... |
