Guys, there is still NO WORD that HC&C will even happen this month. They got kicked out of Uptown, missed a month, went to the Marq-E, got kicked out, and are now silent. I'm assuming they're busting ass looking for a new venue, but it's going to be hard.

I was at the December meet... I accidentally parked too close (I got there really early) and ended up being surrounded by clean M3's... my 328 had scratches everywhere, was filthy, stock, and was missing driver side tint. It was embarrassing and I was trapped in for the entire meet, lol.

Probably due to all the burnouts. Probably definitely.

On a side note, it looks like I just sold my car and am putting a 2011 e92 335i on order. Bimmerless for a few months but it'll pay off haha

Actually, it was neither the Corvette nor Viper's fault that HC&C got kicked out twice. The first time was because Uptown Park management got complaints from store owners who didn't benefit from the meet, aka places that didn't sell food/cupcakes/coffee.

Jorge couldn't reprint the whole thing because Facebook only allows for a 420 character post. I used a comment by Joey Liotta to add an additional comment and posted this. Folks,

Due to the uncooperative nature of the Edwards MarqE property
management, we will not be having a Cars & Coffee gathering this month.
For those of you who attended our January gathering, I think you will
agree it was one of the best we've ever had - both from the standpoint
of the vehicles present, and also in terms of traffic management (and
the virtual elimination of reckless driving). During the event, LA
Fitness sold several memberships and is now an enthusiastic supporter;
Red Robin offered to help not only with providing food and restrooms,
but also with the costs of security. We felt we were on pretty solid
ground with continuing the event at this site.

Not so. Without having attended either the December or January
gatherings, the property manager informed us that she's received
numerous complaints and that we are no longer welcome. We made a very
concerted effort to improve our gathering, but ultimately it was not
enough to satisfy the MarqE management.

At this point we're in preliminary talks with a commercial site that has
no retail space. Since the MarqE provided no amenities to us and we've
had to coordinate that ourselves, we feel that a non-retail commercial
location could free us from constantly coping with retail patron parking
places. I will inform everyone as soon as I know any details.

i stay far away from that place. i'd rather stay at home than to go watch a bunch of clowns leaving the parking lot like a bunch of kids that just got their licenses.

Whatever. I enjoy cars, in general. Being able to see such a broad scope of models from oldies to exotics is a real treat. I hope they organize something. There will always be a sour bunch that spoils the group, but that doesnt mean its not an enjoyable event.

GOOD NEWS! HOUSTON COFFEE AND CARS IS A GO.

Hello everyone, for the month of March we will be in a temporary North Houston location, details have not been finalized with a venue in the Galleria area but we look forward to being back in that area in April. For this month we will gather at Lamborghini of Houston, we have room for 350 cars, spectators will be able to park next door at the Hyundai dealership. The Rossion Q1 along with many more incredible machines will be on display, thank you for your support and for believing in Houston C&C.
