Hey Guys congrats on the cars making it here! I have been following along and it really shouldn't be long now. I'm not sure how long VPC takes but Wagoneers Trucking is quick! I gave my SA the OK and deposit on Friday late afternoon and picked up my car on Sunday morning. It was trucked via Wagoneers Trucking from a Dealer in the LA area to my dealer in Fremont (SF Bay Area).

Can't wait to see your photos! Some pics of mine are here.

Nice! Is that JB or BSM? Like I said in that thread, I love the contrast...

I wish they did tours of the VDC... I'd take a day off to go see what they do up there. (There's that one writeup, but nothing like seeing it all in person.) I told my wife that we're doing european delivery next time.

My CA sent me this a few days ago -- he knows how unhealthy my tracking obsession is:

It was carrying bimmers. So that's one more thing that could happen prior to delivery

You're the closest Eek, you did an amazing job taking the Triton pics, don't you want to volunteer to go to the VDC?

I hear BMW does a little tour of the VDC once/twice a year on a Saturday when they are closed, but they have volunteers who show you the process.
You can do ED, but IMO, the advantage is obviously taking delivery and driving your car in Europe, Disadvantage, you're last in the priority list to take delivery of your car once it hits US soil (1. priority 1 people, 2. dealership cars, 3. ED cars - takes longer to clear customs).

Yup, thats the Waggoners trucking company. Oh man, that sucks man! I bet that truck was carrying bimmers from the Don Juan ship. Oh that would break my heart waiting that long and getting a damaged car. Hopefully all 7 of those cars were just dealership once and not somebody waiting for their car to be shipped.

COngrats Mr Milo. Yeah, I saw you posted pics on the Official Black thread, I subscribe to it. I recognized your name and noticed you took delivery of it. I will be posting my pics there as well. I got a BSM 335IS convertible in coral red. Congrats again!

Thanks guys! My car is JB with the Oyster interior, so I'll be cleaning for days.

Can't wait to see your pictures too. Hoping you get your cars soon.

Also, reading that trucking story just HURT! Boy I really hope those were just dealer's cars.

The salesman I ordered my car from told me yesterday 7-10 days from when it got off the boat. Thats to Bellevue, WA. He tends to underpromise so I'm betting it could be ready on Tuesday or Wednesday. Google Maps says it's a 19.5 hour drive.

Hopefully the VPC is working fast.

I sent a msg to Waggoners through their web site about tracking my VIN#. They responded that the car was delivered to the dealer yesterday. Am picking it up Wed morning. 10 weeks 3 days.

Over and out!
