Thanks mate

Yeah 'Bigtime', they are 19's. Had the standard 18's with runflats on the car before, they looked far too small in my opinion.

Now its just gonna be a mission to try and avoid glasgow's potholes!!!

Have you guys informed your insurance about the chage of alloys?

I rang my insurers (admiral multi car) spoke to a woman who said, just as long as you have told us it has alloys fitted that's fine! i said but these are 19" and it has 17" as standard, and are also now non-runflats... that's fine sir just as long as it has alloys!! lol

I think i'll be ringing back tomorrow and double checking, probably even record the conversation on my iphone to be on the safe side.

Is this normal?

I use Admiral multi-car - Notified them of change of alloys, lip spoiler, lowered springs and tinted front windows.

Each mod was a 'set' amout of money - about £18 ish each I think, can't really remember but importantly they sent a revised cert of insurance with each declared mod itemised on there.

Mine were a swap from 19" to 19" but still itemised on the insurance cert.

I would defo call back and ask them to send you a modified cert with the change of wheels listed on it.

MMm...

Im also an Admiral MC customer.
And a few months ago called to notify of change of wheels and exhaust.
Asked them to procede but having read this did a little checking.
They dont appear to have deducted the fee from the account, which is a worry.

Perhaps a new scam to sting you at accident time?
I had a similar conversation to you, they had no item remotely like 'aftermarket exhaust' or what they normally have is 'stainless steel sports exhaust' or similar.
So we settled upon 'modified exhaust manifold' - thats nice and should cover the downpipes later I remember thinking.

Best I call them back!

Only trouble is the rear lip is very vulnerable.

I would suggest some rim protectors!

Can anyone tell me what paint code they are in gunmetal colour?
I have a similar alloy that needs paint and no idea of the proper code.

TIA
