It was a poor way to damage your 335i. How are you going to explain this to your friends or other family. "I took a corner too fast, and the car was too much for me so I lost it!!"

All this smoke started to billow out from underneath the car like crazy yet it smelled like brush and not something that would come from a car. I looked underneath and there was fire and things got 10 times worse for me then, we knew we had to run away becuase we figured the car would blow up. But im an e90post memember and i cant just watch my e92 blow up so i made a split second decision to run back, start the car and reverse it as much as i could, and to my relief it was just some brush that caught on fire from the exhuast. Thank god that all of us are ok and that there was no body damage as far as pysical damage to the exterior body atleat. All my wheels and tires are completely done for, and my front control arms and suspension are fucked and i dont even know what else thats not visible could be damaged and my car needs to be completely repainted becuase all the shrubs and plants tore it up.

Worse experience of my life. But i need your guy's help on how this shit works, you guys can criticize me as much as you want becuase i am very very stupid and this was a lesson to me and im lucky that we all walked away fine and alive with a scratched and wheel damaged car and not a flipped and air bagged car. So we have full coverage but how long do you guys think it'll take them to pay for it all? its going to be like 14k or something, 5-6 for wheels and tires, 4k for mechanical damage, 6-9k for an awsome complete re-painting of the whole car. We have Farmers, its gonna take like atleast 2-3 weeks to get the money, 6-8 weeks for new wheels..........fuck. Its gonna take time. Man you guys this is so shitty....

I'll post pics by some time tomorrow
WOW! Thats come ding! Thank GOD for insurance!

Wow...bet you don't need to pay for your own insurance too...might as well claim as much as possible. While you at it, get some cash from mom for new mods!...throw in another engine too just in case one caught fire and you still have the other one to drive to the fire station. Anyway.....glad everyone is alrite......what a waste.

Wow guys...... thanks for bring up MR. WWEHOLIC. He was before my time by a few months (where did he go?). I read some of his posts, and it is the funniest shit I've ever seen here....... so funny it's almost sad, but he's too funny for empathy to block the laughs. This guy and ///M need their own reality show.

You have Farmers? Good luck. Hopefully they treat their insured better than the people their insured hit. I got rear-ended six months ago by a guy insured by Farmers. TOTALLED my Volvo. Two days ago someone from Farmers called me to come see the car and discuss repair options! I was speechless.

I'm sorry to hear about this. Just remember, it could have been a lot worse! BTW, the talk with you mother just sounds like she was very concerned, so try not to get defensive ... understand, she's probably more worried than you and is just responding in that way.

It seems that you've learned your lesson... though, a better lesson could be learned overall. Like the other guy said, you should learn from the mistakes of others (though, the way he said it was definitely uncalled for ). You don't need to do drugs/drunk driving/etc to learn that it isn't a good idea. Theres a saying ... "A smart man will learn from his mistakes, but a wise man will learn from the mistakes of others."

And guys, come on. Stop being so unkind to us young people. You were our age once . I honestly believe that people will make mistakes whether their in a 335i or a Honda Civic. Just search youtube, you'll see plenty of people who are in slower cars doing burnouts and plowing into parked cars. Also, quit being jealous of him, its really immature (and, since you're argument is "you should become more mature", then you're being a hypocrite which is scientifically proven to make younger people not listen to you ).

Anyway ///M, I hope the best for you. And next time you feel the urge to race on a road, go find an autocross event, open track day, or something. It'll be significantly safer and you'll be able to test your limits even better there
