Did you even read above posts?

The kit itself is great. It's those EDMs that have caused troubles for some of buyers.

Unfortunately, they didn't work.

I tried different combinations using new EDMs and the old EDMs,
and the result were pretty much same:

1. No error msgs, but one side of headlight's power got turned off.

OR

2. Both headlights retained the power, but I got the yellow bulb out msg and red electric system failure warning msg back and forth.

I'm 100% sure that my wiring is right because I got the kit installed professionally at the local shop, and they worked perfectly fine for two days until one of EDMs got burnt.

So I'm guessing either poor batch of EDMs again or EDMs are not working great with the low-beam system.

Right now I'm just driving without any EDMs attached. I do get the red electric system failure error msg always, but my old halogen bulbs are gone now. I don't have other alternatives right now.

that's exactly what I'm experiencing with my current EDMs (didn't get the new ones yet). either one foglight goes off, or they stay on but the error message comes on very 5 mins! and i've double & triple checked my wiring, it's all correct.

yea they seem to only check in here very so often. I still haven't got new EDMs yet, but judging by your outcome, there's no point. I'm thinking of just hardwiring the HIDs to a power source (probably from the fuse box) and hook it up to a switch. The switch will be mounted under neath the driver side dash somewhere.

Guys,

I'm starting to think it's an issue with headlights. We have had our personal kit installed for almost two weeks and have had 0 problems (on teh fogs). Our test car is going on 4 months error free, and a few other locals are running problem free as well (after a few months). If this keeps being an issue, then we are just going to have to send you a harness to wire the HID headlights like if they were hi/lows on some of our other cars.

We've been taking care of some personal issues so we really haven't had the time to come on here and post. However, we do read what's going on and placed and order for wiring harnesses from our supplier late last week. The harnesses are now in stock and we will ship whoever is having problems with EDMs (for headlights) a wiring harness. When you get the harness, just ship us back the EDMs and you should be ready to go!

Please PM us your request for a harness and we'll get it sent out ASAP!

- Andy

About these wiring harnesses.....

How does it work?
(install & working mechanism)

Before I start the exchange process of EDM to wires, I want to make sure if it's worth the time & money. (I assume that I'll be responsible for the return shipping of EDMs, right?)

Thanks.

3thirty5. are you positive you have it hooked up like we showed? We have hooked up several kits and all of them are working perfectly without any errors what so ever (on the fogs). Can you do me a favor (if you can) and send me a pic of how you have it wired? I think this might be the problem.

New2U: The wiring harness simply connects the kit to the (+) and (-) and uses a relay connected to the car to tell it when to turn on and what not.

Looks like this is turning into another nightmare. I'll give my kit a try next week and if it didn't work, AMEX will hear from me.

Yes i'm 110% positive that i wired it the exact same way as you've shown on the pictures, but the error message still comes up!.. and from the looks of it, i'm not the only customer who's experiencing problems with this product.

Guys,

We have installed and tested these on 325s, 328s, 330s, 335s, etc. NONE of them have had issues and 2 or 3 of them have had our kit installed for over 5 months. On my own personal car, I have the kit installed. No error, no problems. We have seen a couple of cars that were kind of buggy so we soldered the connections and that was it. However, at one point or another before we soldered, the kit did work perfectly. The reason we soldered is because the kit was moving around a little too much. Regardless we have a ton of solder-less cars that are running perfectly.

If we are not there personally to look at the connections and wire the kit, it is impossible for us to know if there was a mistake in the installation. We took pictures of our install and posted them, I'm not sure what else you guys want us to do. If you guys want to give a go at soldering we will tell you how to do it. If not, please PM us and ship us back the kit for a refund.

People using them for headlights, if you want a wire harnes we'll send one out. We offered this last week, but no one PMd us asking us for them. Let us know what you would like to do

you posted a while back that you thought it might be a faulty batch of EDMs, so you were gonna ship some of the members that were experiencing problems new EDMs. But nothing ever happened about that... and instead now you're saying you don't know what we what you to do about this? I really want to give this a 2nd try but you guys aren't exactly making this easy.
