Does BH have one in in stock? Production has ended on the E92 M3's. And I doubt BH has allocations to order an E93 (which is ending production in September).

Garage List
2007 e92  [7.00]
I would say this doc...this is why I buy off ebay (only if warranty is present) I bought my e92 from alabama. I put in a bid on ebay, I won, I went picked it up. It has a remaining 1 year/30k miles left on the factory warranty. which was more then enough to justify me buying one on ebay. Same thing for my truck prior to. You could do all the negotiating over the phone (even though I would use email to CYA).

Think I've had them on the car for about 12-13 months now. Still have the KW sleeve kit in my garage(3 months now) waiting to be installed, to lower it a bit.

I just bought a M3 from California and its being shipped to me next week.
Dont be scared to buy out of town if its still under the factory warranty and if its a great price.

please dont buy from BH though. Not only is the selction (if any) going to be terrible but the prices are raping you with no lube high.

Been meaning to ask you why you said this about BH?
I've bought 2 M3's from them and they've always been good to me.
Although, I have heard of other "horror" stories about them before

I bought my first M3 in Durham North Carolina, my second one in Tennessee and my 89' Volkswagen Gti 16v North of San Francisco. All these cars made it back to Atlanta

I personally enjoy making a trip out of it and prefer buying that way.

You're trying to buy a pretty rare and unique car. If you want to stay local then there's plenty of Accord Coupe Sports off Siegen? C.V.T, wohooOOO!!

I've just never had a good experience with them. This goes all the way back to 2005 when my older sister got her first BMW, an E46 325i. Countless incidents with the service department being absolutely terrible.

The sales people were awful EVERY time when we went looking for the following cars (they were all bought elsewhere): E90 325i, E90 335i, X5, and the E93 M3. I don't know where they find those guys.

They also dented my 335i the first time I took it in for service, but that was a while ago. More recently, I went in for routine maintenance, the car sat for 2 weeks, and not a single thing was fixed (cup holder, rear headlamp, new front tire, oil, brake pads). I'm taking the car back next week and making sure things get done this time. If not, I will literally devote all of my time from August 1st to August 26th (no school) to going up there and wasting as much of their time as possible.

When my Brother-in-law and I went to SC to pick up my sisters M3, it was very painless. The paperwork and everything was done before hand, even the trade in, and we were in and out in under an hour. If you want the best deal, you usually have to travel. Plus the drive home is awesome!

Damn, that sucks! I got in tight with a tech(and service advisor & service manager) there and he's done just about all my work on my cars for about 6 or 7 yrs now, including aftermarket parts too. I guess I've been pretty lucky overall. And the car buying process there was fine too since they didn't have to do much. I just went in and ordered the car how I wanted it and it came in a couple months later. The car washing guys in the back did ruin my wheels on my E46 M3, but they ended up dipping them @ no charge and they were better than when I came in for service I do have a "no wash" note in my file now

I'd say the main issue is doing warranty work. For any shop, dealing with a warranty can be extremely difficult. BH should be better considering they are dealing with mostly factory warranties on newer luxury cars though.

I remember working at a Porsche/Audi shop in Atlanta and i'd literally play phone tag all day with 3rd party warranty companies, then dealing with a claim was a battle. We had to literally let cars sit for days while adjusters came out.
The bigger the issue, the more time the financial process took. Anything to drag out the inevitable o.k..we'll cover it because you've done everything possible to annoy us constantly, including reading our own policy where it does state that part, under that condition, is covered with confirmation from an adjuster and approval from a supervisor in person only. LOL (no joke)

Where locally can I take my 335 to get my curb rash on my rims fixed? It's bad enough to need repair I think but probably not bad enough to justify buying all new rims.

Fisher's Automotive did a great job repairing my friends wheels.

Does that include new paint?

I was quoted $250/wheel for full refinish (curb rash and new finish).
