What he said.

It is actually very simple. I did it almost a year ago. It took me no longer than 15 minutes.

Reed
Hey Reed thanks for the offer. I am still not sold on the black grills. If anything, the gloss grills look kind of cool, but I still like the stock chrome ones better. I am going to be lazy and wait till it is warm to do it.

You know I have only seen one semi-rusty vehicle since you posted the challenge! Usually they can be found everywhere lol

They had an "open house" at the last Cars & Cafe I attended. The smallest ones start in the $30k's. There isn't enough room to swing a cat in those though. I think you are well over $100k for a decent sized one, before you add the amenities of course...

Holy cow that is a super low price...especially for an 09. Even if it is a lemon buy back, still a good price. I would not hesitate to buy a lemon buyback if the problem was related to the HPFP. No worries at all! In fact, if I were to buy another, I'd likely try to get a lemon law buyback to get the price way down lower.

Damn that's a tempting car...too bad it's an auto.

guys....the economy is not getting better anytime soon, and high end cars/luxury items are suffering. Check out ebay, there is a low mile M3 on there for 42k....What's really funny is the oil companies can still get away with raising the price for a barrel of oil therefore pushing a gallon of gas over $3/gallon.....

Definitely lemon!
When I was in the market a few months ago, I remember running Autocheck on few of the BMW listings this dealership had posted on Craigslist and almost all of their cars had a history of accidents, lemon or salvage.

Good find. I became suspicious when you look at the ads for it, you had to pay to look at the carfax.

Great find man! The thing is though a fellow E90 poster (dfries) bought a lemoned 335i and the thing put down 368 whp with a tune only!! I think the car was lemoned because of multiple HPFP failures. I wonder if this might be the case with this one.

Looks like the seller is mad at you Reed! Wonder if it was a shipping company issue?

No sh&t.....he is crazy....I bet I asked him for shipping/tracking info 5 times starting from day one (November 20th)....I only resorted to negative posting when he would not respond at all to PM's....nothing...I have bought rims/exhausts etc with no issues....to think I am at fault or trying to scam him for $70 is really pissing me off.....

As you know I actually bought another set of grills so i am out twice the $$.

If i actually recieve them or find them or whatever I will be selling.....

also, did ya see there is another guy (balbudha) that didn't recieve another set of grills he sold...??..strange coincidence?....I doubt it!!

I don't think you're at fault here at all. He should have responded with shipping information asap. Were you able to verify that the tracking number is legitimate? What did the shipping company say?

Has anybody been playing Gran Turismo 5? I got it recently, and it's rather awesome. I think I need a steering wheel though, the standard controller makes it more difficult than it needs to be. I have a lot of work to do to be able to afford a nice car - had to start off with a used Miata

I have an X box and have put serious thought into purchasing a PS3 for the sole purpose of playing the Grand Turismo games.

In college my buddies and I used to have competitions to see who could lap the Nurburgring the fastest in the E46 M3 GTR.

...Good times.

Damn that's just a shitty situation to be in...sorry to hear about that Reed. Just unfortunate you get pulled into a confrontation without having done anything wrong, and rather properly following up to ensure crap doesn't happen.
