Can anybody recommend a reliable shop? I need to fix the oil filter housing, oil cooler gasket and oil pan gasket.

Hey guys,
Just moved to Houston a couple weeks ago. I took my car to Midtown BMW and they said my tires were at 5/32 both front & back. The car is a lease and the lease ends next september. Really don't feel like forking out $1000+ to get brand new tires (especially when I plan to turn the car in). Can anyone recommend a good used tire place where I can buy a set of tires that will last me a year? I'll put these OEMs back before I return the car!

Call around to the various Discount Tire locations. People that get multiple tires replaced under their road hazard warranty will usually turn in several "good" tires (like when I had a puncture on my STI and had to get another set to keep the diameters within spec...

)

There are plenty of hole-in-the-wall used tires shops in the area, too! You can also try Ebay.

hey fellas quick question. my 330i 2006 just hit 111,000 miles. thinking about purchasing an extended warranty for an extra $136 a month. anyone think it's worth it or waste of time? so far my car has been good to me and haven't had any issues, and all maintenance has been kept up. any feedback from anyone would be appreciated.

hey theres a good used tire place on montrose. if you're on westheimer traveling away from downtown, take a right on montrose and about 1/2 mile down on the left, look for a place all in yellow with a bunch of used tires in front of it. their prices and tires are decent. hope this helps.

I got in a fender bender this wknd and I'll likely need a new front bumper, hood, headlight cover, and halo.

I'd like to go M-sport on the front bumper and I currently have sport. Does anyone recommend a good body shop in Houston that uses OEM BMW parts which would be able to put on an M-sport instead of the sport? Does anyone know if the body shop at Houston North would put on an M-sport if I paid the difference?

Check out ABR in north Houston. Owner's name is Alex. ABR stands for Advanded BMW Repair. They have a body shop on-site that is run by a guy named David I believe. They do all kinds of repair work all the way up to race prepping cars.

I just had my front suspension arms changed over to M3 spec. Great job and I had fun just talking shop with the guys there. Super friendly!

My car got a into a pretty serious collision back in August and took a month before I got it back. Metropolitan Collision inside the loop (on W16th) is where to go man, Andy Holder is the owner and they deal with high end cars all the time. All OEM parts guaranteed and their people will keep you informed what's going on with your car.

Alex Noll with ABR did my battery and did my AE (halos) fix. One of my halos was out and it was the footwell module that had a code not to send power. ABR fixed it super cheap! They are on the north side tho...
