A mold remover/preventer spray for fabrics may help with cleanup. The red stains looks like rust, but it could be the picture colors. It would be good to peel of the trunk to back seat coverings and see what is the real damage. |

I ordered a new rear window trim and will be utilizing the FCPEuro lifetime warranty.

PhaseP I disconnected my battery before opening the fuel area in the backseats. There was no evidence of water reaching that far back. I did take out the seats and let them dry in the sun for a few days, and sprayed everything down with vinegar. I also left the area as open as possible and let everything dry off after steam scrubbing everything. Hope that will be enough until I get the drains unclogged. Unfortunately it’s going to be raining a lot more this week.

Installed M sport sideskirts from a 335is, same exact color as my car and got them for a nice deal. I didn’t think they’d make as huge of a difference on the side profile of the car as they do. Should have done it sooner.
Also found one of my weird plastic dragging on tire type of sounds.. these coilovers get more clapped out by the day.

E92_William the side skirts look great, they are the next item for me. It's amazing how a noice can take you down a rabbit hole, sometimes it's not a big deal.

Definitely recommend doing them it changed the whole car, I don’t do many cosmetic things so it’s good to do it once in a while I think so you don’t get bored. I wish I was done with the rabbit hole but it still does it and maybe this is why..

I'm guessing that you hit a pothole, I've had my own issues with the local roads and had to replace a tire six months ago.

Not so much my current car, but preparing for a potential future car (E93?). LKQ had a 2011 E92 with aluminum trim (but w iDrive), how could I resist? I'm going to clean it up and put it in storage, and if that coupe ever ends up in my driveway, I'll have it looking crisp and clean in no time!

I used to be an ECS Tuning exclusive buyer so I am used to having no warranties period, but have recently started splitting orders over to FCP. They changed something about their warranty program? Too many people taking advantage? Lol Speaking of FCP...... The B58 coils are here! Now that they have finally arrived they will be promptly tossed into the attic to collect dust until I get around to installing them in 2 years Too many mods, so little time

As for FCP, I was VERY loyal to them for a long time, but they lost me over a return issue. So now they're just a store and I'll shop around for the best price. Just get 'em wherever they are priced well and have free shipping. |

The only thing that has changed with FCP is that you get a store credit now. Fine by me.
I have screwed my returns up a couple times and they have made it right. One time they screwed up and made it right as well. Their shipping has slightly taken a step back, but I still get the product on time. I used to get it within a day or two from purchase. Now, its about a week. |

The BMW gasket is the latest version made in Japan. The OFH bolts are not torque to yield aluminum bolts they are steel, so you don't have to replace them, but I usually do since they are cheap and sometimes the heads can strip, as they are tough to reach.

I had two flat tires exactly a week apart because of pot holes! Sidewall split/puncture in both cases. Roads are so bad in LA right now because of the heavy rain, I'm not even driving my car at night because at least I have a better chance of avoiding the craters when I can see them. I need new tires but I'm waiting a month or two until the roads get patched. Got cheap used tires for now.

Another time FedEx lost my shipment, and FCP immediately replaced my order with priority shipping. We've come to expect that from retailers now, but that's not always the case so good on FCP for doing that. I'll still buy from FCP, but I usually just go for best price and fastest shipping now. |

Changed the ringtone in the combox to the F01/F10 one. Much more pleasant!
Requires custom coding - add parameter “ringtone_ 2” to the combox using NCSDUMMY- hex value is 01. FYI don’t try ringtone 1- it’s the old E46/E39/early E90 one. Sounds like a bloody nuclear missile alert! Car is scheduled for major surgery tomorrow. Replacing the oil pan and rod bearings. Will chime in with what the old 72k mile bearings look like! |
