Installed Lux H8 160 bulbs. These f'ers are bright. No flicker, pretty much the best option to fill the rings around the projectors short of ring replacement.

PICS! I want to see. Do they fill both halos evenly?

Was editing my post but you quoted me first. Yes, pretty much. The inner ring will be brighter no matter what, but they came out really good. I'll try to get daytime pics soon.

is it any easier to install as it is an LED?

"***E92 Coupe and E93 Convertible note: does not work on Pre-March 2007 Build date Coupe and E93 Convertible. Check your 2007 Coupe and E93 Convertible build date in your drivers side door jam. This only applies to E92 Coupe and E93 Convertibles. If you have a early 2007 build you need the LUX H8 Adjustable lights. "

Guess I'll do this before I leave work.

It's hard to install these LEDs. The heatsink takes a lot more room.

I have an early build 2007, but the only issue is the bulb check. Code that out, and you're golden. I have no flickering, and full brightness.

if you have big hands it's a PITA...took some time for me to install my LUX...they give you such a tiny space...I am hoping the H8 160s has a similar size heatsink to my LUX H8 V3

I think I'll pay the guy who washes my car to install these for me. This is what a true enthusiast does.

I think you all should trade your 3 series in a buy a 135i... Especially Torgus although he needs a single kit on board

The driver's side was a bitch to install. The passenger side and a lot more room. They are bright as fux at night. They were a definite step up from the v5 I had before. I also installed the mtec license plate LEDs. Crazy bright..if I had pdc I think it'd almost wash everything out on screen.

Was the opposite for me. Passenger side has no room. You E90 or E92?

I do need a single in my life. Are you still using charge pipe injection for your meth? What size nozzle(s) are you running? What concentration of meth? How much would you say is for fuel or is it all for cooling?

E90 you have to do it through the wheel well which is a PITA. There is no door on top of the headlight like the E92 iirc

Yup, used the BMWhat/Carly app. Set the bulb checks for angel eyes to inactive. Bam, done.

Ah, that sucks. I remember installing the headlight bulbs was not fun. Wheel off, shield off, etc.

Big hand problems

While the install did suck, I didn't need to remove a wheel or go through the wheel well

Bought mine at Bimmerfest. They offered like $10 off and didn't have to pay for shipping.
