Hey everyone, thought I'd come day hello.
Put a deposit down on a 56 E91 320D M Sport in Titanium Silver, it's got black leather, heated seats, Bluetooth, privacy glass and sun shades. Done 163k so I'll mainly be doing maintenance, making it look mint again as I resist the temptation to slam it and sort the fitment out! I'm a photographer, currently studying at Bath Spa university, and specialise in Automotive stuff, so I'd love to show you some of my work, and it's also why I went for a Diesel E91, it needs to be a workhorse! |

Hi all,
I've finally joined after looking on here for some time. I started looking here after discovering that one of my rear alloys had a nice crack in it (hence the user name, BMW paid for this which was nice), I took that as a good enough reason to ditch the runflats and got Conti 5P's. Recently fitted the Alpine upgrade which I'm looking to get coded. Adam |

steering groan!
my wife reversed car into skip, how do you miss a ten tonne bright yellow skip? Anyway having the damage repaired, the guy at the garage said that there was a groan on the steering(fullish lock) at low speeds i.e when setting off/parking at low speeds. He also complained about the steering being very heavy. He said the tyres were only at 15 psi. I have to admit Ive never checked them in a year (sorry)which I will do In future.
The body-shop guy who is really friendly and honest has a 530i and he thinks the steering is much lighter on his, I am a bit ham fisted and really like the heavy steering as it feels like I am doing something, I really don't want light steering or I might as well get a Hyundai i10?. Having said that we are going on a family holiday to France approx, 1000mls each way, I am concerned if there are any well documented faults? such as steering rack or power steering pump? my sprinter van and previous cars have all made similar noises on full lock, any suggestions appreciated Nathan |

Hi,
Matured from a 1 series into a 318D M Sport Auto as I queue on the M62 every day. Was fed up with the clurch judder. Love the car but am a little shocked at the mpg. I'm off work at the moment recovering from a knee op and so only doing short journies and getting about 35 mpg. Hopefully it'll do better on a run. Great forum by the way. Mark. |

Hi guys!
Had a Focus RS until last Friday when I got an 11 plate M3. And I absolutely love it. I'll be asking all the usual questions about security, upgrades (especially exhaust), and so on. Nice to meet you all. |

Some lovely cars already in this intro thread!
I've yet to buy mine, but will imminently be buying a 2006/07 e92, likely a 325i Lots of mods already in mind, starting with leather interior (if I buy a cloth version), paddle steering wheel (will be buying auto), and lip spoiler. |

Hi all,
New here and been an owner of an E46 320D for over a year but have just snapped up an E91 320D M Sport with all the goodies, pro nav, heated electric seats, the works with 42k on the clock on an 08 plate. I pick it up on Friday and can't wait Andy from Ashford, Kent |

Ive just returned to BMW after many years, just bought a 2010 320i.
Very pleased with the car, but am very disappointed with the audio, no surprise there then... |

Newbie saying Hi :-)
Hi all, new to this forum and checking in to say hi
I'm hopefully picking up my new toy on Friday it's an E93 330i on a 57 plate in sparkling graphite with nav etc. Former bmw's owned over the years have included an E30 325i convertible, E36 320i, E36 M3 evo. Been driving vauxhalls last few years and I'm trading in my Insignia vx-line for the E93. A bit about me, I'm a paramedic working in London and based at Heathrow. I'm looking forward to being part of the gang and mod wise I'm looking at fitting some 64w CW LEDs as a start and get myself a wind deflector. I'm sure there will be more to come but I will trawl through the various options and see what takes my fancy All the best Jon |

Hi guys I'm new to the forum as I have just purchased my e92 325I msport after owning a Nissan 350z and I'm just looking for some advice on a few things.
1. I'm wanting to change my yellow Angel eye bulbs to maybe hid or led. I have been looking into this a lot and found all different types of kits the best led ones are looking like it is the Cree led kits but looking at pics a 55w hid 6000k canbus Kit is a lot more brighter still. Am I correct what would you guys suggest? 2. Is there any way if getting the 330I performance out of my 325I engine with a remap or something as I have heard its the same engine. If not is there any mods I could do for a little more grunt? 3. Does anyone know of any good coders in the Essex area? 4. The passenger belt butler doesn't seem to work, any ideas? Thanks guys. I also thought ill upload some pics of the car. Now its not my car as I haven't had the chance to take any but its identical in every way. My old car: Last edited by essex_lad; 07-03-2013 at 06:48 AM.. |

Hi guys
New to the BMW scene, been a big part of the RS and general Ford scene for the whole 10 years of my driving life. With a little one and travelling longer to work and needed a diesel so bought a 325d E90. Will post some pics up soon, although will be usual boring ones as its totally standard at the mo. Thanks Will |
