Yeah, I don't quite understand the question. I either drive the car up on ramps (which works for an oil change) or lift car from the front center point and then put the jackstands under the two jack points on either side.

You can't really lift the car from up front (which would necessitate the center lift point) and change the oil.

You could probably lift the car with a floor jack from one of the side lift points and then scoot under there to change the oil. But I would not suggest that!!! It's never a good idea to go under a car when it's being held up solely with a jack. As you know. I hope.

Yeah that’s obvious, problem is I am too low for sliding jack in from from front for center jack point. Just curious what other people did for a quick oil change but works fine as I do it and is always is a jackstand as well. Not worth bringing out the quick jacks for such a quick job, and already got too much shit in garage but ramps w be easy but extra storage space.

Installed right front soft close door actuator today.
1/2 way there.
Should finish tomorrow and get the rear actuator working too.

Will also begin the rebuild process of my old e91.

Easy fix. Get some wood planks, bricks, or pavers. None of those take any room at all

On things I've done today/yesterday:

Modified my prelci hood to accept lci grilles and bumper. Hoping to get an LCI hood soon. This ones toast. Also had to dremel out behind the kidney grilles to get the hood to fit. Ill fill the gap with some rubber edge trim and it'll be fine.

Went under the car to discover by beautiful new coilovers are for RWD. That would explain my poor endlinks and the mediocre fitment. Hoping BC will help me out getting the right set

My exhaust melted through the vacuum line, put some heat shrink over that

Also found the arm for my AFS to be loose as well as the bracket that holds the sensor. Tightened that up.

Routed my charging phone mount wiring behind the radio and up into the center console. Eventually I'll hardwire a 4 port usb switch behind the radio and free up a couple ports. For now thats not necessary

And lastly got my welcome lights to operate correctly. The new halos weren't turning on with the angel eye setting but its working fine with the corner led setting

Also does anyone know what those plastic wire management brackets are called? They got the teeth type push in that locks into the hole, then you use tesa tape to secure the wire to it?

Wow, your car must be super low. Mine has only 5.5" in front, but that's enough to get a low profile HF jack in there. If yours is lower than that, you'd probably have a hard time getting rhino ramps properly positioned too.

I got a set of rhino ramps for free, my stock height E91 wont clear. I use wood blocks and jack the sides up until I can get my jack under the centre point

I need to do this on my e90.
Drive up onto a 2x4, use a scissor jack to raise the car and then get the jack under it.

If you lift from the rear jack point under the side skirt, it can get high enough to get a stand under the front jack point too.

Ugh. One thing after another. My front headlight auto leveling sensor bracket and regulating arm had gotten loose so I tightened them up. Well apparently there's a such thing as "too tight" for the regulating arm. A day of driving and the bracket that wraps around the control arm snapped in half. I wouldn't mind normally- order a new part and replace it no biggy. Except as of this week- I get off work after dark 5 days a week. Now I'm blinding people and I'm not going to adjust my lights manually again.

Installed my M Performance exhaust and N55 midpipe. Everything bolted up perfect with no welding required. It was expensive but not more than what I would have spent for a new non-OEM setup or custom shop/weld work. The sound is literally perfect: secondary cats deleted, e90 resonator deleted, slight sound of spool with the windows down, burbles on stock tune on downshifts; maybe 10% drone at lower <3k RPMs 1st, 2nd, 3rd but no Highway or upper RPM drone just L O U D

Once I install my Racing Dynamics Downpipes, I will probably get more S P O O L and throatier (as if this setup wasn't already meaty sounding). Best mod I've ever done so far: hated getting into this thing and not getting any RPM feedback from the exhaust, but now I can officially say this is a "New Era" of mods on the 335i

Just need to install the e90 tips and fit it good to my M Performance diffuser and it will be perfect

You have to get them from the yards
I recently was looking for them but couldn't find them and was told since they are integrated into the harnesses, BMW never sold them separately. I grabbed quite a few styles when I hit up my local yard last: the "Christmas tree" ones that mount into plastic bracket holes, and the straight/90° right-angle "teeth" ones that grab onto flat-mounts. Gonna need them for a few mods but you never know when the extra ones will come in handy as well

The closest one to me is 6 hours away unfortunately. Very very rarely do I find a part I need or don't need locally

Nice.

but the roof box on it too, wrong box I know . But because this E91 is my winter beater, so going in sleep mode , and taking the audi for a long trip , no extra storage required.
