did you get SES light? You sure it's CI 29? I remember the fault codes looking something like 2 - letter - number - number (like 2C29)

He prob brought it up on the on board comp. It starts with ci whatever

Yea I brought it up dialing thru prompts, it XX-CI 29 or XX-IC 29 (I forget what the first 2 letters were..B something I think..

I drove back from Autobahn to city no prob, kept at 2400 rpm and just took it easy.

This thread shows it a HPFP or Injector, but on E90 Forum I just posted they say misfire cylinder 6-

looks like crappy cell phone pic color noise to me... if they were worn to hell there'd be a lot more wrinkling in the leather don't you think?

to me it looks like the leather dye is wearing off in areas, but it could indeed be a weird combo of noise/shadows

washed wife's car today too...just went over with her some things I found (it looks like car was in an accident as bumper painr is peeling)...also had an issue with the battery as I was using her cd player while washing mine. I think she needs a new batt....she goes to me, maybe I should trade it in for a new one...

Just looking around and doing research for now, not planning on acting on anything just yet

though from what I'm gathering so far it looks like they're more reliable than a 335i

they are, I have a few friends who have e46 with over 100k on them and they track them and havent had major issues. you have auction pricing so if you chose to go to a dealership it will be a great tool on negotiating when it comes down to buying one.

It seems like a lot of people with '05-'06s are asking about $2k too much for them on autotrader
