Well it shows when you do things like that. Good people are kind to animals.

Not Littlebear, but Elsa, our first rescue. It was best not to incite her; she would never give in:

Think you posted another pic of that dog looking equally ferocious. Had to do with chicken McNuggets.

Lol. Don't want to mess with a dog and chicken McNuggets... or ANY food for that matter. Actually I've seen humans go ballistic about getting shorted on the number of nuggets they got and proceed to climb through a drive-thru window and beat on the employee. Crazy world we live in. That's another discussion however.

So yeah, don't mess with the dog and it's nuggets. Lol.

Actually, I think this dog was angry at the nuggets and didn't want to eat them. Or something like that.

How dare you compare a dog to a human? Next time, get two treats, and give one to your dog, and short-change him with the other one by putting it in your pocket, and walk away. That dog will annoy the hell out of you, but he will never bite you.

I could take food from her, but she would put her teeth on me, softly, and growl loudly!
Can't say we ever 'broke' her.

The truth is stranger. We used to take very hard & long hikes in the Catskill mountains. Even famished, Elsa would not eat those things!

You don't see these everyday either, except for children's storybooks. He's a sweetheart too. Believe it or not he was a rescue.
Yeah he's really cool. I'm not even sure i've seen a velveteen rabbit in person.

Thanks. My understanding is that Velveteen Lops are specifically bred between an English Lop (we've had a couple of those too) and a Mini Rex. We always try to go through a rescue for rabbits, that goes for all of our pets, including the dog and cat!

BTW, I like yours too. Is that a Dutch?

@Sara

Unfortunately, he sent me another 9 year old that needs a home but is a yellow lab. Not sure which you would prefer.

Stop it! I want both.

Look at her. Where is she located? Can you send him the same questions for this dog? I'd like to see both in person, if possible.
