Was she wearing huge wrap-around glaucoma sunglasses too?

I was just going to vacuum my car out, but ended up detailing it... Clay bar and Rain-X windshield, washed all windows in and out, washed brake dust off wheels, shined tires, Armorall vinyl/leather wipe-down entire interior (was impressed with the results of this), washed outside, removed blasted bugs off front bumper, waxed, removed front plate and bracket as an experiment (118 miles driven so far with three Leo's passed - knock on wood).

After having my 335is in the shop for the past 2 1/2 months after a freak accident, finally got her back this week. ABR Houston did a great job as usual. Brand new front bumper, KW SC front strut replaced, new steering rack, new m3 control arms, all 4 wheels straigtened and re-powdercoated, had ride height and rebound adjusted all around, in addition to much more ($8K bill). So happy to have her back! Went ahead and updated my JB4 and flashed an INA0S backend using MHD!

Changed my differential fluid. It's kind of annoying without a drain plug, but I was able to take out about 1.2-1.3 liters by fiddling around with the fluid pump. Harbor Freight has a fluid pump with nice long hoses that's great for this application.
My differential drain plug o-ring was still in decent condition, so I didn't bother buying a new plug. Lubricated the o-ring with a little diff fluid, torqued the bolt down to 44 ft/lbs, took a test drive. No leaks, so I'm good! I went with Mobil 1 75w90. It's a full synthetic, meets API GL-5, can be picked up at any auto parts store, and is only about $10 per liter. |
