go to www.bimmerfest.com and look up european delivery. and to get pricing on that website you just look up the car you want and find the PDF that shows confidential dealer pricing. In it you will see US dealer invoice and Euro dealer invoice. Just add up the Euro dealer invoice with the packages and options you want and there is your cost

if you go to "ask a dealer" and find march rates you will see exactly what rates are for that month and the residuals. so the dealer cant hide anything from you since you already know. if his rates are higher and residuals are lower after he discounted the car for you he is a bullshit artist and just want to make his money back and then some

forget about the exchange rates. the reason the cars are less is because it doesnt come out of the dealers alotment. he doesnt get credit for it either. He makes the $1K he charged over invoice and if you go to BMW's website and click on experiences and find cost savings, those #'s are riembursed to the dealer but you still get the car much much lower than what the cost saving are showing.

Not all dealers do this because they dont want to. Some dealers will give you the car at Euro invoice but sell you the packages and options at retail. if they do that...you leave and go somewhere else

There are 2 catches though.
1) its a 4 month process.
2) you can do euro delivery on M series cars but there is no discount

if they leased in 08 as an 07 model they got the discounted price. But even that price is way to low. the car is an 75K-80K so the lease seems a little to low without putting any money down. on the other hand your friend might be like mine. says one thing to make themselves look like they got a great deal when in fact they didnt. and lastly the residuals are always lower on an older car therefore making. Meaning its always less expensive to lease an 08 than an 07. An 07 will be worth less in 2 years than an 08. We call those kind of people bullshit artists.
