Ngl, it's kinda tacky and almost always overdone and not subtle enough to complement the interior. Definitely not gonna help night vision. But to each their own.

Finally finished wet sanding the quarter. Have not done the roof line, but it’s been damn hot here.

Have you swapped out to LED bulbs? I'd say do that for $20 and some time.

I think its tacky. I can't say I haven't considered it before though. If it allowed you to pick any RGB color (oem) and had a dimmer you could make it kinda clean. One single strip across the dash and door trims

I installed a similar strip in my e90.
I wired it to a red/white or red/gray wire and the strip dims with the rest of interior leds.
I noticed it the first few days but hardly notice it now.
Looks good except for some areas where the strip won’t stay in place.
The doors and dash would be harder, so I haven’t tried to do those.
Running all those wires and hiding them wouldn’t be fun for the one you linked, I’d get the individual led strip and do 1 at a time.

My headlights are custom and LED, or are you talking about interior dome lights? Still OEM

don't get those `fiber optic` ones. Get the LED strips. They are thin and illuminate much better with no hotspots etc.

I got it for my car and set it to the same or very close to BMW orange and it looks very OEM.

Something like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003666858928.html

Interior bulbs. Dome, vanity, doors, glovebox, trunk, footwell... I like swapping out to LED bulbs. Just an option out there.

Another photo of them installed. Now I need a rear diffuser, bumper section, canards and roof spoiler. Then I’ll be done with the carbon. Hopefully this guy is around this weekend so I can finally pick up the side vents.

On Saturday the right rear window fell to the bottom of the door unassisted.

Boy was at his mom's till Tuesday. It's his car.

Yesterday I bought a right rear window regulator.

Then made my 17 year old son install it. I gave him guidance when needed but let him do the work.

Buttoned it up and showed him how to reset the limits and it works perfectly again.

The other side rear decided it wanted to destroy itself. These tires are almost new too.

hehe, yeah new addition. I scratched my car twice with a 5/8'' heavyduty hose that was almost stiff as pex... This was the last scratch, and went to get this 150' hosereel. Very nice, soft enough so it STAYS on the ground, hose is smaler 1/2'', but still do a great job.
