Guys, I need to make a decision fast.
I'm going to be covering my 16" inch NON-sport rims to 18" style 189's (stock e92 rims). I was originally thinking of 15mm spacers which should be fine, but what about if I get 18mm? Do you think it'll rub? Reason why I'm asking is because I want a more aggressive look but I need to know the specifics first. If anyone can help that'll be great. Thanks

i think 15 will be good enough. What are you dropped on again? 3mm isn't going to make a huge difference in terms of it being more aggressive. What's the offset of the 189's anyways?

Hm...Damn I don't know the offsets, but I doubt they're that aggressive, to the point that I would rub. Hm...I think I should be fine.

man now i'm also thinking, should i bring the car up to davis to wash it? I didn't bring my car wash gear home. I'd do a full detail up at davis but the problem is that davis is one dusty ass town and that it'd get dirty in a matter of 2-3 days, but i have to stay there for a week and a half. After coming back though, i still have to wait to wash it. Should I?

^nah sorry man. i was dying from a number of things : heat, walking around, ridiculously expensive things, girlfriend's really really really annoying friend, and the fact that i only had 2 and a half hours of sleep the night before so i was walking around with a headache.
i think it's those cheap ass sunglasses i bought lol. bad lens i got a ton of stares from people though cause of the tape on my car haha. it was pretty awesome. my girlfriend was trying to hide but i have no tints so she was exposed! |

A 189 wheel with an 18mm spacer will be equivalent to a 9.5" width with a +32mm offset. I would listen to Alex and just try it first. |
