Guys, I need to make a decision fast.

I'm going to be covering my 16" inch NON-sport rims to 18" style 189's (stock e92 rims). I was originally thinking of 15mm spacers which should be fine, but what about if I get 18mm? Do you think it'll rub? Reason why I'm asking is because I want a more aggressive look but I need to know the specifics first.

If anyone can help that'll be great.

Thanks

i think 15 will be good enough. What are you dropped on again? 3mm isn't going to make a huge difference in terms of it being more aggressive. What's the offset of the 189's anyways?

The thing is, I just found out that I can get a set of 18mm from a friend of mine.
Hm...Damn I don't know the offsets, but I doubt they're that aggressive, to the point that I would rub. Hm...I think I should be fine.

man now i'm also thinking, should i bring the car up to davis to wash it? I didn't bring my car wash gear home. I'd do a full detail up at davis but the problem is that davis is one dusty ass town and that it'd get dirty in a matter of 2-3 days, but i have to stay there for a week and a half. After coming back though, i still have to wait to wash it. Should I?

LOL! your girlfriend man, hella cracks me up. She should be honored to sit in a BMW with her boy at such a young age! Even with tape all over rofl.

Yeah man, Gilroys a bitch. I hate going there in the summer, it's just too hot...run from store to store hoping the AC is on full blast.

Here is Andrew 330i's car with 12mm spacers in the rear. The widths of the 189 and 162 wheels pictured bellow are exactly the same.

A 189 wheel with an 18mm spacer will be equivalent to a 9.5" width with a +32mm offset.

I would listen to Alex and just try it first.
